That person had better have insurance or else they are going to have quite a headache once you go after them for money.
Both of these scenarios would certainly also involve a police officer coming to the situation in order to make sure that everything gets documented properly. When the police officer comes, he or she will certainly ask for your insurance information even if the accident was not your fault. If you don’t have insurance for your vehicle, you will most likely get a large citation because it is the law to have insurance in every single state in the country. Even when you are being careful, other people are not. You still have to have insurance even though you may not be the one at fault.
